Multi-Inbox Email Search for AI Agents

One API call. You pass a query, optional filters (sender, date range, subject), and LobsterMail searches across all your agent's inboxes in parallel. Results come back sorted by relevance.

Milliseconds. LobsterMail indexes emails as they arrive, so searches don't scan raw email content at query time. The more inboxes you have, the more useful this becomes.

Yes. Each search result is a full email object. You can call extractStructured() on any match to pull out typed fields like tracking numbers, amounts, or dates.

Yes. LobsterMail extracts text from PDF attachments and indexes it. Your search query matches against both the email body and attachment text.

Yes. Pass an inboxIds array to limit the search scope. Useful when you know which inboxes are relevant and want to skip the rest.

Search returns individual messages, but each result includes a threadId. Group results by threadId to reconstruct full conversations across inboxes.

Yes. Free accounts can search across all their inboxes (up to 5). The search API is the same on every plan — paid plans just allow more inboxes.

Results are paginated. You get a cursor with each response to fetch the next page. Default page size is 25 results, configurable up to 100.
